AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn senior edge rusher Derick Hall has been voted to the Coaches All-SEC First Team, the Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday.

A team captain from Gulfport, Mississippi, Hall concluded his Auburn career with 147 tackles, 19.5 sacks and 29.5 tackles for loss.

Hall recorded seven sacks and 12 TFL among 60 tackles as a senior in 2022 while forcing two fumbles and making an interception.

Hall also earned the Freddie Solomon Community Spirit Award from the Premier Players Foundation of Tampa.

Hall announced Tuesday in a video that he intends to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

"Auburn family, I just want to say thank you," Hall said in his social media post. "Thank you for all of the countless memories. Thank you for all of the blood, sweat and tears.

"Thank you for all of the Tiger Walks, thank you for all of the rolling Toomer's, thank you for every single thing I've been through at Auburn. It's been nothing short of amazing.

"I can't thank y'all enough for what you've done for me. This time here has been great. If I had to pick Auburn all over again, I would do it a thousand times over."
