AUBURN, Ala. – With postseason softball on the horizon, Auburn (39-15) remained ranked across all four major polls for the 12th consecutive week of the season.
Auburn fell one spot to No. 17 in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll. The Tigers suffered their largest drop in the polls, after stumbling four spots to No. 20 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.
For the fourth straight week, Auburn was ranked No. 19 in Softball America's Top 25. Auburn also fell two spots to No. 19 in the latest D1 Softball Top 25.
In the latest NCAA Division I RPI rankings, Auburn fell two spots to No. 28.
Oklahoma remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the country for the 13th consecutive week. The Sooners hold a 48-1 record this season. A total of nine SEC programs were ranked in the latest polls. Joining the Tigers were No. 4 Arkansas, No. 5 Alabama, No. 12 Florida, No. 13 Tennessee, No. 14 Kentucky, No. 18 Georgia, No. 20 LSU and No. 24 Missouri.
The Tigers will await their postseason destiny with Selection Sunday. The NCAA Selection Show is set for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
