Day 3 was the most interactive day we had as a team. Everyone was involved and had the time of their lives in the Dead Sea.
It was a super long drive to get out there, and it was very hot, even in the water. But it was worth it! I made sure I was the first player to get into the water, so I could make history (as the first Auburn Basketball player to get into the Dead Sea).

The walk to the water was probably the hardest part. The sand was hot and there were huge salt balls that hurt your feet. Once you got out deeper, it disappeared.
I was a little nervous to float because I didn't want water in my eyes. But I leaned back and I couldn't believe I was floating. Afterwards, we all covered ourselves with mud and chased those who didn't have mud on — to cover them up.
Everyone had a blast. It was such an amazing time together.
The next day, we went to the Sea of Galilee and hopped on a quick boat ride out to the middle of the water where we learned how to dance the Hora.
After, we went to the Jordan River where a couple of the guys on the team got baptized. It was amazing to witness and I'm glad my Auburn Family got a chance to turn their lives over to Christ.
From the Holy Land, God Bless!
