It's time to meet the Auburn equestrian freshman class as we bring you Q&As with the newcomers.
 
Our final freshman feature of the season is Wester rider, Alexia Tordoff! She is originally from Powell, Ohio and is a business major.
 
Q: Why Auburn?
A: "I fell in love with the campus and traditions here at Auburn."
 
What is your major, and what do you hope to do with it after college? 
"My major right now is business marketing. I plan on getting my master's after college."
 
What is your favorite Auburn tradition so far? 
"My favorite tradition at Auburn is rolling Toomer's Corner!"
 
What are you most excited about this season? 
"I am so happy to compete with this group of girls. We are going to be unstoppable this year!"
 
How are you managing being on the equestrian team and your class load?
"I manage it pretty well; luckily, we are given so much to help with course loads and homework here at Auburn."
 
What is your favorite thing to do in Auburn? 
"My favorite thing to do at Auburn is going to football games."
 
What horse is your favorite to ride for Auburn?
"My favorite horse to ride in Auburn is either Victor or Dually."
 
What is your favorite memory with the equestrian team thus far? 
"My favorite memory this year is finishing our first semester off strong by beating Oklahoma State."
 
What does 'War Eagle' mean to you?
"To me, 'War Eagle' is synonymous with family and a spirit that is not afraid. We say 'War Eagle' to the Auburn Family as a sign of friendship and extended kinship. It is so much more than a saying. It exemplifies the spirit and grit of an Auburn man or woman."
 
What has been your favorite thing about having your older sister on the team?
"My favorite thing about having my sister on the team with me is being able to accomplish so much together."
 
How would your friends and family describe you in three words?
"Funny, spontaneous, and hardworking."
 
Where is somewhere you would love to live after graduation?
"After I graduate, I plan on moving to Texas to continue riding."
