Gymnastics Rankings: Week 4

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team stands at No. 6 in this week's RoadToNational.com rankings with a 197.306 average. The weekly rankings are based on the average of all scores so far this season.
 
The Tigers (3-3, 1-1 SEC) have been ranked inside the Top 10 for 18-straight weeks, dating back to Week 1 of the 2022 season.
 
Auburn put together a 197.175 last Friday at home vs. nationally-ranked NC State, marking the 19th-straight meet with a 197+ score.
 
"We're excited for another week ranked in the top 10," head coach Jeff Graba said. "This team is doing a really good job at being consistent. We are ranked in roughly the same area in all events and as a team. There are spots we need to improve, but it is nice to see that we are in a really good spot with still room to grow."
 
This week's top teams have not changed much as Oklahoma continues to hold the top spot (197.969). Florida remains at No. 2 (197.700) and Michigan is third (197.619). Utah is fourth (197.569) with UCLA holding a slim advantage over the Tigers with a 197.325 average.
 
The rest of the Southeastern Conference is among the top 20 – LSU (No. 9), Kentucky (No. 10), Alabama (No. 11), Missouri (No. 14), Georgia (No. 17) and Arkansas (No. 18).
 
Auburn ranks fifth nationally on vault (49.313) and floor (49.375). The Tigers are tied for sixth on beam (49.294) and are seventh on bars (49.325).
 
Individually, sophomore Sunisa Lee is tied for second in the all-around with a 39.675 average. The St. Paul, Minnesota product is fifth on bars (9.944) and is in the top 15 on vault (9.900) and beam (9.906).
 
Fifth year Derrian Gobourne is among the nation's best on floor, ranking tied for second with a 9.944 average. Senior Cassie Stevens is tied for 12th on vault with a 9.906 average and is 19th nationally in the all-around with a 39.400.
 
The Tigers return to the road for a rivalry match up, traveling to No. 11 Alabama. Auburn and the Crimson Tide will face off on February 3 at 6:30 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa. The meet will be televised live on SEC Network.
