AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 4 Auburn equestrian team returns to the Auburn University Equestrian Center this Saturday, hosting rival and No. 5 Georgia at 11 p.m. CT in a Southeastern Conference matchup.
"This is one of the best rivalries in sports and especially our sport," head coach Greg Williams said. "It's always a tight battle and we're looking forward to hosting Georgia this Saturday."
Admission will be free and there will be plenty of activities for fans to participate in throughout the day.
"Home crowds make a big difference for us," Williams said. "I hope a lot of people come start their afternoon with us on Saturday."
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Saturday is the team's All Auburn, All Orange contest and orange t-shirts will be handed out while supplies last.
The Kid's Zone will be open as well and will feature a bounce house, pony rides and pet-a-pony. In addition, kids who bring their fliers in from school will be entered for prizes.

AUBURN LINEUP
Not much will change for the Tigers (6-2, 3-1 SEC) this week in the lineup against Georgia (5-4, 1-2 SEC).
The Jumping Seat corps will once again be led by a wealth of experience. Fifth year Emma Kurtz, senior Ava Stearns and junior Ellie Ferrigno lead the way for the squad. Stearns and Ferrigno are both 7-1-0 in Fences this year, while Kurtz has five wins apiece in Flat and Fences.
Joining the trio in both Fences and Flat against the Bulldogs will be sophomores Mary-Grace Segars and Sophee Steckbeck. Segars stands at 6-2-0 in Flat this year and Steckbeck has the same record in Fences.
Reining will go first on Saturday in Western competition and the Tigers will be led by juniors Kate Buchanan, Olivia Marino and Isabella Tesmer. Buchanan and Tesmer each have four wins on the year in the event.
Joining the trio will be freshmen Caroline Buchanan and Alexia Tordoff. Buchanan earned the first win of her career at Texas A&M two weeks ago, while Tordoff picked up her fourth win of the year and MOP against the Aggies.
The Horsemanship squad is full of experience and will remain the same this week. Seniors Maddie Spak and Olivia Tordoff will guide the squad as Spak is unbeaten in the event this season with a 7-0-1 mark. The older Tordoff has four wins and three MOPs.
Junior Madison Parduhn and freshmen Caroline Fredenburg and Alexia Tordoff will also compete for the team. The younger Tordoff is second on the team with five wins in the event so far this season.
AUBURN-GEORGIA SERIES
Georgia leads the series, 31-24, with a slight edge in meets held in Auburn at 11-10.
Auburn holds a 13-2 record in the last 15 meetings between the two schools, including victories over Georgia in the 20223 SEC Championship Semifinal and the 2021 SEC Championship title match.
The two teams met in the Auburn's season opener this fall with the Tigers topping the Bulldogs, 11-8, in Bishop, Georgia on October 7.

Auburn remains at home and hosts the No. 1 SMU Mustangs on February 25 at the Auburn University Equestrian Center. The Tigers and the Mustangs will square off at 11 a.m. CT and admission is free.
