AUBURN, Ala. – The calendar has flipped from January to February, bringing the 2023 SEC Championships along with it. Head coach Ryan Wochomurka's crew will get one more opportunity to swim in competition with the Auburn Invitation and First Chance Meets ahead on Friday and Saturday.
The action begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3 for the am session and will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 4. The First Chance meet will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Saturday's morning session.
Athletes from Emory, Georgia Tech, Florida and Florida State have all entered the Invitational which should bring a wealth of competitive action throughout the weekend.
Auburn swim and dive enters the weekend after wrapping up their dual meet season against Alabama last month. The Tiger men dominated from start to finish to earn another victory over the Crimson Tide while the women battled valiantly, ultimately coming up a touch short against a top-10 opponent.
Both programs, however, enter Friday ranked in the top-15 in the CSCAA Coaches Poll. The men hold at No. 9 while the women are slotted at No. 13.
