AUBURN, Ala. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named both the Auburn men's and women's programs as a Scholar America Team on Friday.

With a 3.59 GPA, the women led the way in the fall while the men secured a 3.37. This marks the eighth straight semester Auburn has had its men's and women's teams on the list.

It's also the third straight semester under head coach Ryan Wochomurka where both teams raised its cumulative GPA.

The teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their fall grade point averages. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.

In total, 803 teams from 479 colleges and universities earned the honor. Those with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will now become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
