AUBURN, Ala. – After taking two of three from Indiana, No. 17 Auburn (2-1) hits the road for the first time this season with a neutral-site matchup against North Alabama (1-2) Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama.

"We'll do whatever it takes to try to get back in the win column," head coach Butch Thompson said. "That was an amazing crowd in support of Auburn (last year). We know Huntsville and that area has a huge Auburn following. That's going to be awesome."

QUICK HITTERS
Auburn defeated Indiana in two of three games last weekend, marking the seventh straight season the Tigers have won at least two games during Opening Weekend.
Ike Irish was named the SEC Co-Freshman of the Week after going 6-for-12 with three runs, three doubles and three RBI against Indiana.
Irish is the first Auburn player to be named SEC Freshman of the Week after Opening Weekend.
Bryson Ware led Auburn with seven hits and matched Irish with three doubles vs. the Hoosiers.
Seventeen players - eight position players, nine pitchers - made their Auburn debuts last weekend.
Konner Copeland is set to make his third start in an Auburn uniform Tuesday. Copeland is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and nine strikeouts in 6.1 innings in his previous two starts.
Tuesday marks the second straight season Auburn has played at Toyota Field. The Tigers previously defeated Tennessee Tech 4-3 in Madison, Ala., on Mar. 9, 2022.
Tuesday also starts a stretch of four road games this week. The team went 18-13 in road and neutral games last year, marking the most wins away from Plainsman Park since 1998.
Auburn is 5-0 all-time against North Alabama with all five previous games being played at home.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
Led by first-year head coach Jad Prachniak, North Alabama went 1-2 against Milwaukee Opening Weekend.
The Lions scored a combined four runs in the first two games before exploding for 14 runs in the finale.
Redshirt freshman infielder Gehrig Frei led the way with six hits and a .429 batting average, and four players turned in an average of .375 or higher.
Freshman right-hander Avery Brown is scheduled to make his collegiate debut on the mound Tuesday.
