Lacena Golding-Clarke came to Auburn, originally, out of junior college. She had committed to Texas, but Harvey Glance never stopped recruiting her. Golding-Clarke was a superstar at Auburn in the Heptathlon and hurdles. She went on to compete in three Summer Olympic Games for Jamaica.
Last summer she received a call from new head coach Leroy Burrell. Like Glance, Burrell wouldn't take no for an answer, and now she is back at her alma mater working with sprinters and hurdlers on the women's and men's side. Her next order of business? Coach so well that her school records are broken.
Lacena Golding-Clarke is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, brought to you by Alabama Public Health.
