AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn senior Honesty Scott-Grayson has been named to the SEC Community Service Team for women's basketball, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Scott‐Grayson has helped coordinate several community service projects along with the Auburn women's basketball team. She helped with the Boys and Girls Club Christmas Party and has been part of the Breakfast Club at Drake Middle School in Auburn. She was part of the carpool service group at Richland Elementary School, and she has also participated in Hoops for Hope and with the Azalea Assisted Living center.
She is also part of the SEC Women's Basketball Leadership Council, and she earned her degree from Auburn in December.
This marks the 25th year for the SEC Community Service Team for women's basketball as well as for men's basketball. All league‐sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at‐large teams for men's and women's sports being chosen from 1999‐2003. The SEC began this concept with a football Community Service Team in 1994.
Scott-Grayson and the Tigers have two games left in the regular season, beginning with a trip to Athens, Ga., to take on Georgia Thursday night. Auburn will close out the regular season Sunday at home against Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. CT. It's Senior Day as Scott-Grayson and Sania Wells will be recognized in a pregame ceremony, set to begin at approximately 2:35.
