AUBURN, Ala. – For the second straight season, Auburn's Aicha Coulibaly has been named to the All-SEC Second Team as the league announced its annual women's basketball awards Tuesday.

Coulibaly, a junior from Mali, leads the Tigers in scoring (16.4 points/game), rebounding (6.3/game), assists (2.5/game) and steals (2.2/game). She ranks in the top 15 in the SEC in three of those categories – sixth in scoring, 15th in rebounding and third in steals.

So far this year, Coulibaly has led or shared the lead in scoring for Auburn 15 times, and she has recorded a team-best four double-doubles. She recorded her career-high in scoring in Auburn's biggest win of the season with 31 points in an overtime victory over Ole Miss. Coulibaly also posted the Tigers' top single-game totals in assists (7, at Georgia) and steals (6, vs. Alabama State).

It was the second straight year for Coulibaly to earn a nod on the All-SEC Second Team and the fifth year in a row for Auburn to have at least one All-SEC player. She's the 14th player from Auburn to be named All-SEC twice.

Coulibaly and the Tigers begin postseason play this week at the SEC Tournament when they face Georgia at 5 p.m. CT Thursday in Greenville, South Carolina.
