AUBURN, Ala. – The 2023 postseason is just around the corner and Auburn equestrian would like to take this time to catch up with its 2023 senior class!
Next is Lindsey Klein! Lindsey came to Auburn from San Diego and has provided depth for the Tigers in Jumping Seat throughout her time on the Plains. She will finish her career with two MOPs in Flat and a career high score of 85.
She's earning her degree in finance and has multiple SEC Academic Honor Roll and NCEA Academic Honor Roll awards.
Q: How is this season different knowing it's your last year on the Plains?
A: "Knowing this is my last season on the Plains is a constant reminder to take everything in. Remembering all the firsts and now all the lasts is hard, but this group of girls has made it all worth it."
Q: How has your experience prepared you for life beyond college?
A: "Auburn equestrian has prepared me to be mentally tough in every aspect. The dedication and work ethic I've developed on this team is something I want to bring with me wherever I end up next."
Q: What would you like to say to the fans and the rest of the Auburn Family?
A: "To the Auburn Family I want to say thank you for being the best fan base in the nation. Our home meets are unlike any other school and it's all because of the fans and our families that constantly support us."
Q: If you had one piece of advice to give your younger self, what would it be?
A: "One piece of advice for my younger self would be keep working because it's all going to be worth it. This team continues to get stronger, and I hope we get to prove it this year in the post season."
Q: What is your major and what is the next step for you after Auburn?
A: "My major is finance and I'm hoping to be a financial analyst, ideally in the real estate industry. I'm heading to Charleston, South Carolina after graduation to begin my career."
Q: What is your favorite Auburn tradition and why?
A: "My favorite Auburn tradition is all the pre-game rituals in Jordan-Hare. I love watching the flyovers, the eagle, and the marching band to get in the Auburn spirit."
Q: Who is/was your favorite horse at Auburn and why?
A: "My favorite horse at Auburn is Chunky because he's perfect. After he's done with his college career, I want to bring him home to California."
Q: Best Greg Williams quote?
A: "The best Greg Williams quote is along the lines of 'Plant a seed for a tree you'll never shade under.' It's a good reminder that all the work and energy you put in is going to benefit someone else down the road."
