AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off SEC opening weekend, Auburn (13-6-1) looks to respond in its midweek matchup against South Alabama (8-12) Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery

 SCOUTING THE JAGUARS 
South Alabama enters the week with an 8-12 overall record after getting swept at Georgia Southern last weekend. The Jaguars have dropped six straight games.
 
Offensively, the team is hitting .247 as a team and is led by sophomore outfielder Will Turner's .385 clip. Turner leads the team in hits (10), doubles (eight) and RBI (21).

On the mound, South Alabama has turned in a 5.84 staff ERA with 220 strikeouts in 174.0 innings. The strikeout total is good for the 15th most in the country.
