AUSTIN, Texas. – The accolades for graduate Conner Pruitt keep piling up. College Sports Communicators (CSC) has named Pruitt the First Team Academic All-American the association announced Tuesday.
Pruitt, a native of Opelika, Alabama has been nothing short of brilliant throughout his career on the Plains. A five-time All-American diver, Pruitt has exemplified the true meaning of being a student-athlete.
This season, Pruitt captured seven wins between the 1-meter and 3-meter events in dual meets, and a successful week at Zones in Knoxville earned Pruitt a spot at the NCAA Championships.
After earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Pruitt turned his attention toward an Exercise Science graduate degree where he boasts a 4.0 GPA.
Along with fellow diver Walker Creedon, Pruitt and 12 swimmers begin the 2023 Men's NCAA Championships, March 22-25.
