TEAM NOTES
Auburn's win in the series opener vs. Georgia was its eighth comeback win of the season and it's fifth one-run win, including its second straight after Tuesday's 6-5 win vs. South Alabama … the walk-off was the team's third of the season, including it's first SEC walk-off since defeating LSU 2-1 on May 8, 2021 … it was the team's first win when trailing after eight innings since the middle game at No. 1 Tennessee a season ago … Auburn is 5-1 in one-run games this season and 15-6 in one-run games since the beginning of last year … the Tigers turned around 24 hours later to secure another comeback win, its ninth of the year and second straight … the team has 31 come-from-behind wins since the beginning of last season … the series win was the team's first SEC home opening series win since 2019 and its fourth SEC home opening series win under head coach Butch Thompson … all three games of the series were sold out for a total weekend attendance of 12,288, tied for the third largest series attendance in program history and the largest since 2003.
