Cole Cubelic is a model of hard work and persistence. After his playing career with Auburn football, Cubelic knew he wanted to get into sportscasting. He started with a pregame show with his Auburn teammate Ben Leard. It wasn't easy or profitable initially. Cole was a salesman in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies originally. It paid the bills. He worked in radio, then TV and now he does both. He co-hosts a highly popular morning show with former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy in Birmingham. Cubelic is part of the SEC Network's top crew covering SEC football in the fall. This spring, he works on the ESPN coverage of the XFL. Who knows where his career will lead him next?
