  • Increased his career-best hitting streak to 12 games dating back to the end of last season
  • Homered in all three games against the Bisons, including a game-tying, two-run homer in the eighth inning in the series-clinching win Saturday and go-ahead, three-run homer in the eighth inning to secure the sweep Sunday
  • Five of his six hits during the week were for extra bases – two doubles and three homers – and he currently leads the SEC in slugging percentage (1.128)
  • His three homers for the week were tied for the fourth most in the league

  • Drew a walk with two outs in the eighth inning Sunday, extending the inning so Bryson Ware could come to the plate for his three-run, go-ahead homer

  • Has earned the win in four straight appearances since the series opener against USC last weekend (Feb. 24), leading the SEC in the category
  • Allowed just three baserunners on two hits and an error with no walks and six strikeouts in his 5.1 innings of work during the week
  • Recorded a season high and matched a career high with four strikeouts in his 3.0 innings Sunday

  • Made the fourth start of his career against Florida A&M Tuesday, including his first start since 2019 while he was at Notre Dame

TEAM NOTESThis season marks the fourth time under head coach Butch Thompson that Auburn has won at least nine of its first 11 games … the team's nine wins are tied for the fourth most in the league this year … After winning 22 games during which they trailed last year, the Tigers have four come-from-behind wins this season, including two straight … the team has homered in nine straight games and in 10 of 11 games this season … the nine straight games with a home run is the team's longest streak since 2021 … through three weeks, the Tigers rank in the top five in the SEC in average (.335), on-base percentage (.446), hits (125) and doubles (27) … Saturday's walk-off win was the team's first since defeating Alabama State in 10 innings on Apr. 19, 2022 … the Tigers' sweep of Lipscomb was their first since sweeping South Carolina from Apr. 22-24 last year … 17 position players saw action last week and 13 recorded a hit, including six with five or more … Kason Howell appeared in his 200th career game vs. Lipscomb Friday and recorded his 200th career hit with a first-inning double … Howell became the first Auburn player since Jordan Ebert and Anfernee Grier in 2016 to reach the 200-hit milestone and finished the game tying a career best with three doubles … he made his 200th career start, including his 124th straight dating back to 2021, in the series finale Sunday.
