At one point in his Auburn career, Randy Campbell was the 11th-string quarterback! He spent one season as a wide receiver. Thanks to the A-Day game prior to the 1982 season, Campbell moved into the starting role and never relinquished it. He handed off the ball on "Bo Over the Top". The next year, he helped Auburn to the SEC Championship and a Sugar Bowl win over Michigan.

After his playing days, Campbell became a financial advisor in his firm. Recently, he and his wife moved back to Auburn, and you'll see them at Plainsman Park, Neville Arena and Jane B. Moore cheering on his alma mater.

The remarkable story of Randy Campbell is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, brought to you by Alabama Public Health.
