- Three of his four home runs in the series vs. Mississippi State got Auburn's scoring started in the contests – a solo homer in the fifth inning Friday, two-run homer in the second inning Saturday, and three-run homer in the fourth inning Sunday.

- Struck out five of the first nine batters he faced and notched his season-high ninth strikeout in just 4.0 innings pitched.
