BATON ROUGE, La. – Auburn women's tennis associate head coach Megan Falcon has been elected for induction into the LSU Athletics Hall of Fame, Director of Athletics Scott Woodward announced on Friday.

"There is no better role model for our young women than Coach Megan Falcon," said Auburn head coach Caroline Lilley. "She epitomizes coaching being a calling, not a career. Her accomplishments stand alone in LSU history as the greatest of all time. As her Auburn Family, we are thrilled as we know there is nobody more deserving. We celebrate Megan's induction into the Hall of Fame as we recognize it is something that means the world to her family."

Falcon, who was a member of the LSU women's tennis team from 2007-09, was a three-time singles All-American and three-time All-SEC selection. She was an NCAA Tournament singles semifinalist in 2007, and she achieved Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings of No. 1 in singles and No. 10 in doubles.

The 2007 SEC Player of the Year was also named Louisiana Player of the Year on three occasions and was a finalist for the Honda Award in 2007, which is given annually to the nation's most outstanding female collegiate athlete.

The Alameda, California native joined the Auburn coaching staff in July of 2021 after serving as the associate head coach at Kansas from 2019-21, which followed a three-year stint as assistant coach at Wisconsin.

The induction ceremony is scheduled to be held this fall at a time and venue to be announced.
