AUBURN, Ala. – Three Auburn players have received SEC postseason honors this season, the league office announced on Thursday. Senior Carolyn Ansari was named first team All-SEC, junior Ariana Arseneault given second team All-SEC honors and DJ Bennett was named to the SEC All-Freshman team.

Ansari has posted a 19-12 singles record and a 16-15 doubles record overall this season. The senior recorded seven wins over ranked opponents this season (four in dual matches) including a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Georgia's Dasha Vidmanova, who was ranked 12th in the nation in singles, as well as South Carolina's Sarah Hamner, the 20th ranked singles player by the ITA at the time.

Ansari delivered the match clinching point for Auburn against both No. 17 San Diego and No. 8 Pepperdine during the ITA Indoor Championships in Seattle earlier this season.

The Greensboro, North Carolina native has now been named first team All-SEC for the second season in a row. She also was named All-SEC second team and SEC All-Newcomer team in 2021.

Auburn junior Ariana Arseneault has recorded a 20-14 singles record and a 18-13 doubles record overall this season as well as a 15-9 singles mark in dual matches. Arseneault has picked up 10 wins over ranked opponents on the singles court this season (six in dual matches) including a 6-2, 6-2 victory over then-No. 9 Ayana Akli of South Carolina and a 6-4, 6-3 win over then-No. 20 Janice Tjen of Pepperdine. The Richmond Hill, Canada native finished the regular season with a singles ranking of 35th by the ITA.

This marks the second consecutive season that Arseneault has received All-SEC honors, as she was named first team All-SEC in 2022.

On the doubles court, Ansari and Arseneault have played at the top of the Auburn doubles lineup in every match this season. The Auburn duo, that reached an ITA ranking of 20th during the season, picked up four victories over ranked opponents including a 6-1 win over then-No. 17 Ange Oby Kajuru and Chie Kezuka of Iowa State and a 6-2 win over then-No. 26 Guillermina Grant and Mai Nirundorn of Georgia.

Auburn freshman DJ Bennett has recorded a 19-9 singles record and a 18-5 doubles record this season including a 15-7 singles record in dual matches. Bennett, who was named SEC Freshman of the Week on March 29th, has picked up five ranked singles wins (four in dual matches) this season.

The Bellview, Florida native also reached an ITA ranking of 78th in singles at one point during the spring. Bennett and partner Kaitlyn Carnicella have posted a doubles record of 18-6 (team-best 14-3 in dual matches) this season for the Tigers.
