AUBURN, Ala. – For just the fifth time in program history, four Auburn men's golfers have been selected to the PING All-Southeast Region team as Carson Bacha, J.M. Butler, Brendan Valdes and Alex Vogelsong represent the Tigers on the 2022-23 list announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Saturday.

PING's six All-Region teams serve as a prerequisite for being named a PING All-American. All-American teams are set to be announced later this summer.

Butler and Vogelsong earned All-Region honors for the second time in their respective careers as both players appeared on last season's list. Bacha and Valdes are first-time All-Region selections.

The four men have spearheaded one of the best seasons in the 75-year history of the Auburn golf program. Not only did they tie the record for wins in a single season (5), they also currently boast the best scoring average the school has ever seen at 278.00 shots per round.

As individuals, Bacha, Butler, Valdes and Vogelsong have combined for two wins, eight top-five finishes and 73 rounds below par. The foursome will look to culminate the already successful season with a national title this week at the NCAA Championship. Round two begins Saturday at 1:52 p.m. CT.
