AUBURN, Ala.— Eight Auburn student-athletes were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Wednesday for outstanding performance both in the classroom and during intercollegiate athletic competition during the 2022-23 season.
On the women's side, Lalah Hasbrouck, Madi Malone, Alyssa Quinones-Mixon, Amirah Sharpe and Amy Warren all earned recognition while representing the Auburn men were Kyle Brown, T.J. Funches and Michael May.
Additionally, both the men's and women's teams were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams with 3.17 and 3.29 GPAs, respectively.
To qualify for USTFCCCA academic honors, student athletes had to maintain a 3.25 GPA for the academic year and finish in the top 96 in the NCAA rankings for any individual athletic event.
