Full Count Rhythm – Ohio Valley League
Bray has been one of the Rhythm's most effective arms this summer, turning in a 2-0 record and 1.44 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched. Five of Bray's seven starts this summer have been scoreless efforts. He struck out a summer-high eight batters in 5.2 innings on June 17 and has earned the win in each of his last two starts, allowing just one hit with 10 strikeouts and no walks in an 8.0 inning span.
Trevor Horne
Kingsport Axmen – Appalachian League
Horne leads Kingsport and ranks third in the Appalachian League with a 1.82 ERA and is 2-0 with 29 strikeouts and eight walks in 24.2 innings pitched and five starts. His 10.6 strikeout-per-9.0-inning rate is good for the best on the team and his eight walks were the fewest by a pitcher who logged 20 or more innings.
Ike Irish
Brewster Whitecaps – Cape Cod League
Irish has played in 23 games for Brewster and leads active Whitecaps players with a .316 average this summer (25-for-79). He has scored nine runs and collected four doubles, one triple and eight RBI while walking (12) more than he has struck out (10). Heating up of late, Irish is on an eight-game hitting streak and is hitting .462 (12-for-26) during the span. He recently represented the East Team in the annual Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game and started as the designated hitter.
Cameron Keshock
Alexandria Aces – Cal Ripken Sr. League
Keshock has posted a 1-1 record with a save and 2.52 ERA in 11 games and four starts for Alexandria this summer. He has struck out 31 batters and issued nine walks in 25.0 innings pitched. Keshock hasn't allowed an earned run in seven of his 11 appearances and has a 1.13 ERA with 12 strikeouts in his last three appearances and 8.0 innings. He most recently earned the win and struck out seven in 3.0 innings in the victory that sent the Aces to the championship series. Keshock was named to the South Team for the Cal Ripken Sr. League All-Star Game and also played in the Ripken Classic earlier this summer.
Gavin Miller
Alexandria Aces – Cal Ripken Sr. League
Miller has played in 30 games for Alexandria this summer and is hitting .248 (28-for-113) with 23 runs, 11 doubles, 25 RBI, 22 walks and 10 stolen bases. He leads the team in doubles and ranks tied for fifth in the league in RBI. Miller has multiple hits in three straight games – going 7-for-12 with six runs, one double, one homer and five RBI during the span – and has helped lead Alexandria to the championship series. He was named to the South Team for the Cal Ripken Sr. League All-Star Game and also played in the Ripken Classic earlier this summer – going 3-for-7 with two RBI in two games.
Hayden Murphy
Gainesville Gol'Diggers – Sunbelt League
Murphy showcased his two-way talent with the Gol'Diggers this summer, posting a 3.32 ERA on the mound while turning in a .320 clip at the plate. In seven appearances and four starts the right struck out 24 batters in 21.2 innings pitched, highlighted by an eight-strikeout performance in 4.0 innings pitched on June 21. He didn't allow an earned run in his first four appearances and 12.0 innings. Offensively, Murphy collected eight hits in 25 at-bats with three RBI and a pair of stolen bases. He had multiple hits in back-to-back games from June 15-17.
Ryan Olson
Xenia Scouts – Great Lakes League
Olson made six appearances and five starts for Xenia this summer, turning in a 4.00 ERA with a win and a save. He struck out 33 batters, good for the second most on the team, in 27.0 innings. After earning a 3.0-inning save in his first appearance, Olson turned in his best outing of the summer, allowing one hit with 10 strikeouts in 5.0 scoreless innings on June 19. He represented the South Division at the Great Lakes League All-Star Game.
Caleb Pittman
Danville Dans – Prospect League
Pittman has made 10 appearances, including a pair of starts, for Danville this summer and ranks fifth on the team in innings pitched (27.2). He earned a 3.0-inning save on June 29 and turned in his best outing of the summer on July 15, striking out five batters in 4.0 innings of work. The right hander recently logged 3.0 innings of work on July 24.
Will Turner
Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots – Sunbelt League
Turner has been the Chatt-a-Hoots best pitcher this summer as the southpaw has posted a 5-0 record with a 0.79 ERA in eight starts. He is tied for the league lead in wins, tied for second in strikeouts (43), fourth in ERA and fifth in innings pitched (34.1). Turner hasn't allowed more than one earned run in any of his eight starts and struck out six or more batters in six of his eight trips to the mound. He most recently earned the win in 5.0 scoreless innings on July 21, two days before Columbus won the regular season championship.
Chris Stanfield
Bourne Braves – Cape Cod League
Stanfield played in nine games for Bourne and hit .313 (10-for-32) with seven runs, six RBI, five walks and five stolen bases. He reached base in all but one game he played – good for a .425 clip – and registered hits in the first six contests. In three games from June 30-July 2, Stanfield went 7-for-14 and drove in five runs.
Alex Wade
Alexandria Aces – Cal Ripken Sr. League
Wade has played in more games (31) for the Aces than anyone this summer and is hitting .218 (24-for-110) with 21 runs, four doubles, 16 RBI and 11 stolen bases. He started his summer on a hot streak, hitting .324 with eight RBI in his first eight games, and has been on hitting streak of seven and six games this summer. Wade was named to the South Team for the Cal Ripken Sr. League All-Star Game and also played in the Ripken Classic earlier this summer.
NewcomersCade Belyeu
Lima Locos – Great Lakes League
A rising freshman, Belyeu has hit .253 (24-for-95) in 29 games for Lima. He has added 18 runs with two doubles, one triple, two homers and 18 RBI. The freshman recently homered in back-to-back games during a doubleheader on July 21, going 3-for-4 with a summer-high six RBI in the second of the two games. Belyeu hit .310 through the first 18 games of the summer and represented the North Team at the Great Lakes League All-Star Game.
Jackson Castillo
Bourne Braves – Cape Cod League
A transfer from the College of Southern Nevada, Castillo played in 10 games for Bourne earlier this summer and turned in a .275 average (11-for-40). The outfielder scored five runs and collected two doubles, one homer and seven RBI in his stint up North. Castillo homered in his second game of the summer on June 12 and went 4-for-5 with a double two games later. He drove in five runs in a span of three games from June 21-25.
Deric Fabian
Chatham Anglers – Cape Cod League
A transfer portal pickup from Florida, Fabian leads Chatham with a .397 average (23-for-58) and has scored 15 runs with two doubles, a homer and nine RBI in 18 games. He is shy of hitting the qualifying minimum to rank among league leaders but is just .001 shy of the best average in the Cape. Fabian has multiple hits in six games, including three three-hit games and a four-hit effort at Bourne on July 12. He has reached base in 14 of 18 contests – good for a .493 on-base clip.
Javon Hernandez
Danbury Westerners – New England Collegiate Baseball League
Hernandez leads all West Division players with a .337 average (35-for-104) in 28 games in the NECBL this summer. He has added 25 runs, five doubles, one triple, four homers, 20 RBI and eight stolen bases. Hernandez has a hit in 23 of 28 games, including multiple hits in nine contests, and is 9-for-20 (.450) in his last five games. He represented the West Division at the NECBL All-Star Game and started at shortstop while drawing a pair of walks and scoring a run.
