BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Auburn soccer has been picked to finish 10th in the Southeastern Conference this season by the league's head coaches, the SEC office announced Monday.
 
Arkansas was tabbed as the favorite with Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia and Texas A&M rounding out the top five. The complete coaches' poll can be found below.
 
The Tigers posted a 6-6-6 overall record during the 2022 season, including a 2-6-2 mark in SEC play. Auburn returns 8 of 11 starters and brings back a large portion of the squad's offensive output, accounting for 15 of 23 goals, 21 of 29 assists and 51 of 75 points scored last year. Also returning are defenders Hayden Colson, Erin Houston, LJ Knox and Madeline Moore and goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska, all of whom help notch the program's second-best goals against average, 0.72, last season.

Auburn opens its season in, Aug. 17, at home versus Samford. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network+ with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. CT.
