AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women's golf and head coach Melissa Luellen announced its tournament schedule for the 2023-24 season Thursday. The tournament slate includes nine regular season events with four in the fall and five in the spring prior to postseason play.
The Tigers will be returning to some familiar courses for four events including the Mason Rudolph Championship, where Megan Schofill captured last year's individual title, to kick off the fall season from Sept. 22-24. Auburn will also return to the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 18-20), the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (Mar. 4-6) and will look to defend its title at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic (Mar. 29-30) to finish the regular season.
In addition to the Tigers' recurring trips, the team's schedule also features three events that Auburn has not taken part in since the 2015-16 season: The Ruth's Chris Lady Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 9-10), the Stanford Intercollegiate Presented by Dr. Condoleezza Rice (Oct. 20-22) and the Lady Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 4-6).
Auburn will make the program's first ever appearances in the Windy City Collegiate Classic (Oct. 2-3) in Highland Park, Illinois, and the Valspar Augusta Invitational (Mar. 9-10) in Augusta, Georgia.
The 2024 SEC Championship will take place at a new venue for the first time since 2013, moving away from Greystone Country Club in Birmingham to be played at Pelican Golf Club in Bellair, Florida, from Apr. 12-16.
Following the SEC Championship, Auburn will host a NCAA Regional at Auburn University Club. The 2024 regional will mark the fourth time that the women's program has hosted a NCAA Regional and the third time that a regional has been played at Auburn University Club.
The NCAA Championship will also have a new home as the tournament will move away from Grayhawk Country Club, where it had been played for the past three seasons, to be played at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa's Champions Course in Carlsbad, California, from May 17-22.
