AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn tight end Rivaldo Fairweather has been named to the 2023 John Mackey Award preseason watch list, the Friends of John Mackey announced Friday.
A 6-4, 251-pound junior, Fairweather played three seasons at Florida International, recording 54 receptions for 838 yards and five touchdowns.
Presented annually since 2000 to the nation's most outstanding collegiate tight end, the John Mackey Award honors its namesake for his Super Bowl championship, commitment to his community and his historic service as the first president of the National Football League Players Association.
