AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn's Megan Schofill was named to the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List for the fourth consecutive season, the Haskins Foundation announced Monday.

Schofill, who is competing in her final collegiate season in 2023-24, is one of just 25 players in the nation to make the watch list. The announcement follows Schofill becoming the first Auburn player to ever win the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in August.

During the 2022-23 season for the Tigers, the Monticello, Florida native had a memorable senior campaign and was awarded first team All-American honors by WGCA and Golfweek as well as first team All-SEC honors by the conference.
Schofill was the individual champion of the Mason Rudolph Championship with a 207 (-9) for her third individual career victory, placing her in a tie for the sixth most individual tournament wins in Auburn program history. She posted a runner-up individual finish at the 2023 SEC Championship. Lowering her collegiate career scoring average to 72.14, Schofill currently holds the lowest scoring average in program history (minimum 60 rounds).

Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is given annually to the top female Division I collegiate golfer. The winner is voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer and to match the Haskins Award, which acknowledges the top male Division I collegiate golfer.
Schofill and the Tigers kick off the 2023-24 season on Sept. 22-24 at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tennessee.
