AUBURN, Ala. – In conjunction with PNC Bank and the PNC Achievers program, Auburn announced Anna Haddock (Soccer) and Conner Pruitt (Men's Swim & Dive) as the winners of the Spring 2023 PNC Achievers Awards on Wednesday.

The program celebrates achievement among student-athletes and showcases student success through its honors and recognition program. A male and female student-athlete are recognized each semester for their well-rounded achievement through leadership, academic success, community engagement and in competition.

Haddock, a senior captain on the soccer team, currently serves as the Co-Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She's been a SAAC Representative each of the last three years and was Chair of the Marketing and Communication Subcommittee last year. Haddock is also a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection and was named CSC Third Team Academic All-American in 2022. She graduated from Auburn in May.

"I am super honored to receive this award among other impressive student-athletes," Haddock said. "Balancing sports, academics, and leadership can be challenging for all student-athletes, so it's great to get recognition and see the hard work pay off. I'm thankful Auburn has provided so many great opportunities and helped me be successful in all aspects of life."

On the field, Haddock has started every game since she arrived at Auburn in 2020. She was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team her first year and earned First Team All-SEC honors as a sophomore. She currently has 16 career goals and 27 career assists.

Pruitt wrapped up his diving career at Auburn in the spring. Like Haddock, he was heavily involved in SAAC – serving as a representative the last three years and as Chair of the NIL Subcommittee the last two years. He was a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection and was the recipient of the SEC Brad Davis Community Service Award in 2022. He also represented Auburn at the SEC Leadership Council in the summer of 2022.

Pruitt, a four-time team captain, qualified for the NCAA Championships in four of his five seasons, earning Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2022 and 2023. He won silver on 1-meter at the 2019 SEC Championships, taking Second Team All-SEC honors.

"I think it's great," Pruitt said. "I always wanted to be a leader, even as a freshman. Luckily, some people had enough faith in me as a sophomore to be captain, and I guess that just carried on through my fifth year. I was able to have a good four years as captain. I think leadership was a big part of who I was and who I would like to be.

"I've always thought the leader should be the one that not only sets the example and sets the tone for practice, but also leads by leads by their activities out of the pool. Through that, I just started to love the community service and knowing that I set an example."

Haddock and Pruitt will both be recognized on the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium during the Georgia football game on Sept. 30. PNC Bank will be the game sponsor.
