AUBURN, Ala. - Freshman Mary Mac Collins of the Auburn cross country team was selected as the SEC Women's Co-Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
The Tuscaloosa, Alabama native finished first at the Foothills Invitational with a time of 14:10.10 in the women's 4k. The Auburn women scored 15 points to finish first.
This is the first weekly honor for an Auburn freshman since Cooper Atkins in September 2021.
Collins and the Tigers will return to action next Friday, September 15, at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama.
