AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn women's tennis team has earned the preseason ranking of 15th in the country, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Wednesday.
The top 25 includes six Southeastern Conference teams, which is tied for the most of any conference in the United States. Wednesday's ranking is ten spots higher than the Tigers' preseason ranking prior to the 2022 season, which was 25th.
Auburn's season is set to begin at the Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs, California later this month on January 13th. The Tigers will then hold their home opener at noon on January 20th against 22nd ranked Iowa State University.
