AUBURN, Ala. – For the third straight game, Auburn is set to do battle with a Top 25 opponent. Life in the SEC. The Tigers hung with No. 1 Georgia and then got outplayed on the road at LSU this past weekend. Now the Tigers have to turn the page and start preparing to host No. 13 Ole Miss on Saturday.
"We've got a lot to learn from that (LSU) game," head coach Hugh Freeze said in his weekly press conference. "There's certainly no time to hang our heads or feel sorry for ourselves because we've got another team that's very much like them coming in. I think this is the third straight week that we'll be facing the top three offenses in the conference – Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss. It's going to be a tremendous challenge.
"I'm thankful that we're at home in Jordan-Hare. We need it to be at its all-time best, and I know it will be. We'll get ready and excited to play in this challenge, but it's a really good football team coming in."
