AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 2 Auburn equestrian team returns to the Auburn University Equestrian Center Friday, October 20, to face rival and No. 6 Georgia in a Southeastern Conference match up. The two teams will go head-to-head at 3 p.m. CT and admission is free.
"Friday should be a great meet between two very good teams," head coach Jessica Braswell said. "We've been practicing hard since returning from our last road trip and coaches Taylor Searles and Emma Kurtz have the team ready to go."
Friday will be Auburn's first SEC contest of the season as the squad comes back to the Plains after two meets on the road.
"After being on the road, we are excited to be back in front of our fans," Braswell said. "Nothing compares to meets at Auburn and that is because of the support we get from the Auburn Family. Our team really feeds off the home crowd!"
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Friday is the program's Breast Cancer Awareness Meet presented by East Alabama Health. Pink ribbons and pink shakers will be available to fans, while supplies last. There will also be a first ride honoring survivors.
The Kid's Zone will be open with a bounce house, paint-a-pony and pony rides and the day will also feature upgraded concessions as well as food trucks.

AUBURN LINEUP
The Tiger lineup against Georgia will feature a fifth year, five seniors, three juniors, three sophomores and three freshmen.
All-Americans Ava Stearns and Ellie Ferrigno lead the charge in Jumping Seat. Stearns, a fifth year, and Ferrigno, a senior, will compete in both Fences and Flat for the Tigers. Ferrigno is coming off a MOP performance at UT Martin last week.
Joining the pair in both Fences & Flat will be junior Mary-Grace Segars and freshman Avery Glynn. Segars is undefeated in Fences, while Glynn returns to the lineup for the first time since the first meet of the year.
Juniors Anna Marie Mayes and Sophee Steckbeck are also set to compete this Friday for the Tigers in Jumping Seat. Mayes will ride for the squad in Flat and Steckbeck will go in Fences. Steckbeck is 3-0-0 in Fences on the year.
The Western corps will kick off the day in Reining and be led by a trio of seniors and two sophomores. Senior Isabella Tesmer stands at 3-0-0 on the year with two MOPs and sophomores Caroline Buchanan and Alexia Tordoff are unbeaten at 2-0-1 each.
Seniors Kate Buchanan and Olivia Marino will also make the start in Reining for the squad.
Horsemanship will see a senior, two sophomores and two freshmen represent the Tigers. Senior All-American Madison Parduhn along with Tordoff and sophomore Caroline Fredenburg bring experience to the lineup against the rival Bulldogs, while freshmen Brooke Jolstad and Sydney Swallom look to build of their wins on the road last week.
AUBURN – GEORGIA SERIES
Georgia leads the series, 31-25, while the series in Auburn is tied at 11-11.
Auburn holds a 13-2 record in the last 15 meetings between the two schools, including victories over Georgia in the 2022 SEC Championship Semifinal and the 2021 SEC Championship title match.
The two teams last met on February 18 in Auburn with the Tigers taking a 14-4 victory over the Bulldogs.
