AUBURN, Ala. – A loaded slate that features a postseason rematch and a 2023 Women's College World Series foe awaits Auburn softball in Mexico as the Tigers are set to compete at the 2024 Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in February.

The eighth edition of the PV College Challenge is held over two sessions with games played at the Nancy Almaraz Stadium. Auburn competes in the second session during week two of the regular season. The Tigers are making their return trip to Puerto Vallarta after competing in the tournament in 2017.

The Puerto Vallarta College Challenge began in 2015 and has evolved into one of the premier tournaments designed to launch the softball season. It was the first DI softball event held outside the United States.

Auburn opens the tournament on Thursday, Feb. 15 with a doubleheader slate versus UC Davis and Utah, a team that advanced to the 2023 WCWS. Auburn returns to the field on Feb. 16 to face Wichita State in the final game of Friday's slate. The Tigers round out the tournament on Saturday, Feb. 17 with a 2023 NCAA Regional rematch with Clemson.
