QUICK HITS
Sophomore outside hitter Akasha Anderson registered 20 kills in her last outing against Mississippi State. The feat marked the 11th time the Reston, Virginia native piled up at least 20 kills in her young career.

Fellow sophomore Kendal Kemp went on a blocking bonanza in Starkville. The Eagan, Minnesota product stacked up 10 blocks, tying her season-best in 2023. She now has 294 career blocks, needing just six more to become the eighth Tiger in program history to reach 300. Kemp enters Sunday's matchup averaging 1.27 blocks per set, ranking fifth in the Southeastern Conference. Amongst active hitters in the conference, Kemp's .347 hitting percentage ranks second.

As a team, Auburn's 2.42 blocks per set is the fourth-best mark in the conference and No. 52 in the nation. The team's 251.5 total blocks are the second-most in the SEC.

Junior defensive specialist Fallan Lanham jumped back into the lineup after missing two months due to injury. Lanham's 12 digs marked the third time she reached double-digits this season and signaled a new season-best.

Liberty, Missouri product Bel Zimmerman enters Sunday's contest averaging 0.33 aces per set. Her efforts not only lead the team but also ranks eighth in the SEC.

The magic number for the Auburn defense appears to be 200. When holding opponents to .200 hitting or lower, the Tigers are 12-1in such matches.

With 148 wins throughout his 10-year career, head coach Brent Crouch is just two wins away from reaching 150.

SCOUTING LSU
Tonya Johnson enters her second year as head coach of the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. Entering Sunday, her squad carries an 11-14 record with a 6-9 mark in conference play. LSU's signature wins came early in 2023, sporting victories over UCLA, Texas Tech and Missouri.

Graduate middle blocker Anita Anwusi continues to be a force offensively in the SEC. Her .370 hitting percentage is the second-best in the conference and No. 54 in the nation. Anwusi is also third on her team, averaging 2.06 kills per set.
