INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the first time in program history, Auburn Volleyball has earned a berth to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons. The No. 7 seeded Tigers will face Western Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. CT in round one in the Louisville Regional.

Should Auburn advance to round two, the Tigers will face the winner of No. 7 Louisville and Wright State on Friday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. CT.

The matchup will also mark the fourth meeting between the Tigers and Western Michigan. Auburn owns a 2-1 record versus WMU with its last win coming in sweeping fashion in 2019.

Last season, Auburn took down then No. 14 Creighton on its home floor, 3-2 (21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 16-25, 25-11) for the second NCAA Tournament win in school history before falling in five sets to Houston in the second round.

It's the fourth time head coach Brent Crouch has led a team to the tournament. Crouch previously took two of his USC squads to the Big Dance. In six NCAA Tournament matches, Crouch owns a 3-3 record.

Thursday will mark the third tournament berth for Auburn. Prior to last season, the Tigers were selected to the 2010 tournament where Auburn knocked off Missouri State, 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 27-25), before falling to then-No. 3 Nebraska in Lincoln.

Information on ticket sales will be provided as soon as made available.

Head coach, Brent Crouch
"It's a big deal. We talked at the beginning of the year about can we do it again. Mostly what I meant by that was can we play at the same level or better? Can we improve? And can we make it to the NCAA Tournament again? And we've done that. Never been done here at Auburn, twice in a row as we know. So it's a huge step forward. It's also a huge step forward that we knew we were in. We were not a bubble team. We got seeded and that's a huge step in the right direction."

Madison Scheer, Sophomore Outside Hitter
"It's so special. It's so cool. This team, we have so much potential. We've really started to peak and I think we're really excited about what we can do this week. It's awesome. It's so cool and I'm honored to be a part of it."
