AUBURN, Ala. – Women's tennis concluded its fall slate over the weekend on the home courts of the Yarbrough Tennis Center at the Auburn Invite, which was highlighted by a strong final day on Sunday.

"Really pleased with how we handled the areas within our control today," Auburn associate head coach Megan Falcon said on Sunday. "We are in control of how we respond to things that are outside our control. By the third day of a tournament, you're not always going to be physically feel your best. Mental resilience is the differentiating factor. Grateful we could end our fall season on a high note at home."

Senior Adeline Flach posted a perfect weekend for the Tigers, as she went 3-0 in both singles and doubles during the tournament. Flach posted singles victories over Bente Spee of Florida, Priya Nelson of Alabama and Reka Zadori of Ole Miss.

The Alpharetta, Georgia native teamed up with DJ Bennett for the first time since January to defeat Wisconsin's Karolina Jacobson and Rosie Gross as well as Florida's Qavia Lopez and Carly Briggs on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, Flach and Selin Ovunc took down Furman's Sara Isabel Snyder and Maeve Thorton 6-2.

Ovunc also had a successful weekend for the Tigers, earning two singles victories over Qavia Lopez of Florida and Sara Isabel Snyder of Furman. The victories marked her fourth and fifth of the fall, while her doubles win with Flach improved her doubles record to 10-2 this season.

During the final day on Sunday, graduate student Ali DeSpain picked up two singles victories over Emma Kette of Ole Miss and Kate Zink of Penn State while freshman Ava Esposito Cogan finished the fall on a high note by pulling out a tight 7-6 (9), 0-6, 6-2 victory over Alabama's Priya Nelson.
