BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn swept this week's Southeastern Conference men's basketball awards released on Monday.

For the first time of his career, graduate senior forward Jaylin Williams (Nahunta, Ga.) was named SEC Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to a 104-76 victory over Indiana, one of college basketball's blue blood basketball programs, as part of Holiday Hoopsgiving on Dec. 9 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga.

It was Auburn's fourth-straight win over a Big Ten Conference opponent and most points scored since recording 109 points in an overtime loss to UConn in 2021. Williams tied a career high with 24 points on 8-of-14 field goals and 2-of-4 from 3-point range. He also finished with seven assists, one off his career high, six rebounds, one block and one steal versus the Hoosiers. It marked his fifth career 20-point outing.

Meanwhile, teammate Aden Holloway (Charlotte, N.C.) took home SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season. The freshman point guard registered a career-high 24 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor, making 5-of-8 three-pointers and 5-of-5 free throws against IU. He also added two assists and a rebound in the win.

It marked his fifth double-digit game this season in eight games played for the Tigers. Holloway (24 points) and Williams (24 points) became the first Auburn players to record 20-point games in the same game since Jabari Smith (31 points) and Walker Kessler (22 points) did so against Vanderbilt on Feb. 16, 2022. The Tigers also tied a school record with just three turnovers in the ballgame versus the Hoosiers.
