AUBURN, Ala. – In conjunction with PNC Bank and the PNC Achievers program, Auburn announced Elijah McAllister (Football) and Cassie Stevens (Gymnastics) as the winners of the Fall 2023 PNC Achievers Awards on Thursday.
"Cassie and Elijah are outstanding Auburn student-athletes," athletic director John Cohen said. "Their stellar achievements in competition, the classroom and in our community serve as examples for their teammates to emulate. Congratulations to these deserving PNC Achievers."
McAllister was a graduate transfer from Vanderbilt who made quite an impact on and off the field in his one year at Auburn. He served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Subcommittee. He supported youth development through his All For One, One For All Foundation by organizing Back to School supply drives, including one in Auburn, and volunteering with food donations and football camps.
McAllister, Auburn's football representative on the 2023 SEC Community Service Team, played in all 13 games for the Tigers this past season and finished with 28 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. As a doctoral student with two degrees already, he did Ph.D. work in the College of Education while at Auburn.
Stevens recently began her fifth season competing with Auburn gymnastics. She was an SEC champion and First Team All-American on vault last year and has earned All-SEC honors in three of her four seasons on the Plains.
Outside the gym, Stevens is currently completing a master's degree in exercise science (biomechanics) after graduating in spring 2023. She's a four-time WCGA Scholastic All-American and has made the SEC Academic Honor roll three times. Last year, she was named the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year and a CSC First Team Academic All-American.
The PNC Achievers program celebrates achievement among student-athletes and showcases student success through its honors and recognition program. A male and female student-athlete are recognized each semester for their well-rounded achievement through leadership, academic success, community engagement and in competition.

McAllister and Stevens will both be recognized as PNC Achievers on the court at Neville Arena prior to the Alabama men's basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
