AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team remains at No. 12 in this week's RoadToNationals.com rankings.
The team's current average bumped up to 197.082 after scoring a season-high road score of 197.100 last Friday in Baton Rouge against LSU. Auburn stays home this week hosting No.13 Missouri in Neville Arena. The teams will face off at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
Oklahoma remains at No. 1 with a 198.139 average. LSU is now at No.2 with a 197.696, while California (197.575), Utah (197.533), and Florida (197.517) round out the top five. The rest of the Southeastern Conference is among the top 20 – Kentucky (No. 6), Alabama (No. 10), Missouri (No. 13), Arkansas (No. 16), and Georgia (No. 18).
Auburn's beam squad is ranked sixth nationally with a 49.279 average after scoring a 49.450 on Friday. The floor crew is 13th with a 49.393. The vault team is 13th with a 49.239 and bars 18th with a 49.171 average.
Individually, fifth-year Cassie Stevens moved up to 17th in the all-around with a 39.496 average and is 14th nationally in vault with a 9.882 average. In addition, she's ranked 30th on beam, averaging 9.871. Senior Olivia Hollingsworth is also within the top 50 overall with an all-around average of 39.336.
Senior Gabby McLaughlin is 14th nationally on beam, holding a 9.896 mark.
