AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 5 Auburn equestrian team heads to No. 6 Georgia for a SEC meet Saturday, February 10. The Tigers and the Bulldogs will face off at 1 p.m. CT in Bishop, Georgia at the UGA Equestrian Complex.
 
"It's always been a huge rivalry and it's always a big deal to beat Georgia," head coach Jessica Braswell said. "We have our hands full on Saturday because Georgia is a very good team and are an even better team at home. We'll be prepared and I think our team is going to rebound well after a tough weekend last week."
 
AUBURN LINEUP
Auburn's lineup will feature one fifth year, five seniors, two juniors, three sophomores and four freshmen.
 
Auburn's Jumping Seat lineup will feature six riders for Tigers with four competing in both Fences and Flat.
 
Fifth year graduate student and All-American Ava Stearns along with senior All-American Ellie Ferrigno, junior All-American Mary-Grace Segars and freshman Avery Glynn will all compete in both Fences and Flat. Junior All-American Sophee Steckbeck will ride in Fences, while freshman Alex Ryden will go in Flat.
 
Steckbeck leads the team with an 8-0-0 mark in Fences, while Ferrigno stands at 7-1-0 in the event. Stearns has a team-best five wins in Flat for the Tigers.
 
Auburn's Horsemanship lineup will feature a senior, two sophomores and two freshmen. Senior All-American Madison Parduhn leads the group, while sophomores Caroline Fredenburg and All-American Alexia Tordoff bring experience to the lineup. Tordoff has a team-best seven wins, while Fredenburg has five. 
 
Freshmen Brooke Jolstad and Sydney Swallom are also set to compete in the event for Auburn.
 
The Reining corps will be led by a trio of seniors in All-American Kate Buchanan, Olivia Marino and All-American Isabella Tesmer. Sophomores Caroline Buchanan and Tordoff will join the three against the Gamecocks on Saturday.
 
Tesmer stands at 7-1-0 overall on the year, while the younger Buchanan has five wins. Both have two MOPs each this season.  
 
AUBURN – GEORGIA SERIES
Georgia leads the series, 31-26. Auburn holds a 14-2 record in the last 16 meetings between the two schools, including victories over Georgia in the 2022 SEC Championship Semifinal and the 2021 SEC Championship title match.
 
The two teams last met on October 20 in Auburn with the Tigers taking a 12-8 victory over the Bulldogs.

Auburn returns to the Auburn University Equestrian Center for a tri-meet with Dartmouth and UT Martin. The Tigers and Dartmouth will face off at 3 p.m. on February 16 and will go against UT Martin on Saturday, February 17 at 11 a.m. CT.
