BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Three Tigers earned SEC Men's Basketball postseason awards in a vote by the league's head coaches released on Monday.

Junior forward/center Johni Broome (Plant City, Fla.) was honored on the All-SEC First Team. One of the top players and centers in the country and in the SEC, he is a strong candidate for the John R. Wooden and Naismith National Player of the Year and All-America Teams. Broome has recorded 1,956 career points, 1,167 rebounds, 336 blocks, 100 steals, 112 double-figure scoring games and 57 double-doubles to date.

This season, he became just the second player in program history to be named the USBWA Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week. A 2023 All-SEC Second Team selection and SEC Academic Honor Roll student, Broome is the only player currently ranked in the Top 10 in scoring (16.3 ppg) and rebounding (8.5 rpg) in the SEC.

He also became the fifth player in program history to be named to the SEC All-Defensive Team next to Quantez Robertson (2009), Anfernee McLemore (2018), Isaac Okoro (2020) and Walker Kessler (2022).

For the first time of his career, graduate senior forward Jaylin Williams (Nahunta, Ga.) garnered a spot on the All-SEC Second Team. He is the winningest player in program history with 110 career victories.

Williams is currently averaging 12.9 points and 4.4 rebound per game in his fifth year with the Tigers. He is the school-record holder for most career games played (137) and ranks 21st all-time on Auburn's career scoring list with 1,270 points to date.

Freshman point guard Aden Holloway (Charlotte, N.C.) became the 19th player in school history to be named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. He currently boasts a team-best 3.15 assist-to-turnover ratio (85-to-27) and has started in 22-of-31 games played for the Tigers.

Holloway is the team's fifth-leading scorer averaging 7.8 points per game and leads the team in 3-pointers made this season (50).
