AUBURN, Ala. – After having to move some things around with the weather forecast this week, No. 13 Auburn (9-2) takes on Air Force (4-7) for the first time in program history Wednesday at 1 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park.

"The more you play, I think it keeps unveiling areas where you know you need to continue to grow it you want to be the best team you can be down the road," head coach Butch Thompson said.
"Whenever you get to host one of our academies and what these young men have signed up for, the discipline that's bread within their program is something to honor. This is a way for us to do that. I have high regards for Air Force coming in here," Thompson added.
The game will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on Wings 94.3 FM. The contest will also be streamed digitally on SEC Network+.
Promotions for Wednesday's game include $2 hot dogs and Hump Day at Plainsman Park, featuring a photo opportunity with a live camel located on the concourse inside the gates behind home plate.

Auburn is 7-1 at home this season and is outscoring the opponent 71-24 in eight home games.
The Tigers have homered in 11 straight games to start the season, marking the longest season-opening home run streak since at least 1979 - the previous streak was seven games.
The stretch of 11 straight games with a homer is the longest at any point in a season since 2010 and the 22 homers through 11 games are the most since 2009 (26).
Auburn has stolen 29 bases this season, good for 11th in the country and second in the SEC.
The team didn't steal its 29th base last year until Apr. 22 (39 games).
Cooper Weiss leads the SEC and is second in the country with 12 stolen bases.
He has set the program's single-game record with four stolen bases twice this season.
Auburn's 86 walks through 11 games are good for fourth in the SEC and eighth in the NCAA.
Ike Irish became the fourth fastest player in program history to reach 100 career hits last weekend (68 games played) - only Scott Pratt (61 games), Todd Faulkner (63 games) and Tim Hudson (66 games) have reached the milestone faster.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Led by 14th-year head coach Mike Kazlausky, Air Force enters the week with a 4-7 overall record and is coming off four straight losses last week. The Falcons swept Navy in a three-game series the weekend prior.
Offensively, Air Force is led by Auburn High School product Jay Thomason's .364 clip, while Jake Greiving leads the team with three homers and Chris Stallings leads the way with 12 RBI.
On the mound, the Falcons have turned in a 6.20 staff ERA and 15 pitchers have seen action in a game this season, including five who have made a start.

New for 2024, gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.
- Fans must enter Plainsman Park via the main gates located behind home plate or Tiger Terrace.
- The gate located off Donahue Drive near the right field foul pole is closed due to construction.
- Those with a reserved ticket or add-on access to the Hall of Fame Club may enter via the exterior glass door located off Donahue Drive.
Fans are encouraged to park in the athletics complex parking deck, coliseum lot, Neville Arena lot and stadium parking deck.
- For 2024, Donahue Drive from the Josh Donaldson Hitting Lab to the Tiger Walk corner of Donahue and Heisman Drive will be shut down from two hours before first pitch through the middle of the first inning and from the top of the seventh inning until the stadium has been cleared of fans.
Student seating inside Plainsman Park is in section 111 and Tiger Terrance on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can also access the new Back Forty Deck sponsored by Outdoor Alabama on a first-come, first-served basis via the walkway between the Josh Donaldson Hitting Lab and South Donahue Dorms.
For 2024, several concession locations have changed due to construction.
- There will be no concessions available along the first base side of the ballpark, including Curveball Café and the food vendors located at Plainsman Patio.
- Ben's Soft Pretzels has moved to the exterior concourse next to the ADA ramp on the third base side of the ballpark.
- The Sweet Treats stand previously located at Plainsman Patio is now located at the main entry gate next to the ticket booth.
- The Chick-fil-A stand previously located next at Plainsman Patio is now located in the former promotions booth on the exterior concourse. Chick-fil-A is available for all home games, excluding Sundays.
