AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off another hard-fought weekend in the Southeastern Conference, Auburn (16-11) completes its season series vs. UAB (12-15) Tuesday at 5 p.m. CT at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

"It's time to put the head down and get better," head coach Butch Thompson said. "Let's redefine what we're doing, circle the wagons and do this together. Let's be ready to play in Birmingham tomorrow night. That's probably the biggest thing we can do.

Auburn leads the all-time series against UAB 55-12, including 21-9 in games against the Blazers away from home.
 
Including a 7-2 win on Feb. 20, the Tigers have won 10 of the 13 matchups against UAB under head coach Butch Thompson.

UAB enters the week with a 12-15 overall record and is 1-5 in AAC play after getting swept at No. 14 East Carolina last weekend.
 
The Blazers are hitting .240 as a team with 39 doubles and 18 home runs in 27 games. Graduate catcher Jake Smallwood leads everyday players with a .282 clip.
 
On the mound, UAB has turned in a 5.78 ERA with 207 strikeouts and 109 walks in 232.0 innings pitched.
