AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn (18-17) wraps up its eight-game homestand with a matchup against Georgia Tech (22-12) Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park.

"I'm just trying to get our guys to circle back up and make some adjustments," head coach Butch Thompson said. "Everybody has had ample opportunity. We'll see if we can maybe provide some new opportunities tomorrow by taking a look at some guys against a really good Georgia Tech team."
 
The game will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on Wings 94.3 FM. It will also be broadcast nationally on SEC Network.

Four of Auburn's last seven SEC home games have attracted more than 5,000 fans.
 
The attendance totals each of the last two weekends - 15,153 vs. Tennessee and 13,902 vs. Kentucky - surpassed the previous record.
 
Dating back to 1897, Auburn leads the all-time series against Georgia Tech 123-113-6, including a 66-46-2 advantage in home games.
 
Both meetings between the Tigers and Yellow Jackets last season went extra innings.
 SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS 
Georgia Tech enters the week with a 22-12 overall record, including a 7-8 record in ACC play.
 
The Yellow Jackets have won six of the last eight games and are coming off a series win against Virginia Tech, outscoring the Hokies 30-7 in the final two games.
 
Offensively, Georgia Tech is hitting .304 as a team with six players hitting .300 or higher for the season. Freshman Drew Burress is second on the team with a .374 average and leads the way with 15 homers and 44 RBI.
 
On the mound, the Yellow Jackets have turned in a 5.53 staff ERA with 315 strikeouts and 144 walks in 293.0 innings pitched. Midweek starter Logan McGuire is 2-2 with a 6.20 ERA in seven starts this season.

  • Fans must enter Plainsman Park via the main gates located behind home plate or Tiger Terrace.
  • The gate located off Donahue Drive near the right field foul pole is closed due to construction.
  • Those with a reserved ticket or add-on access to the Hall of Fame Club may enter via the exterior glass door located off Donahue Drive.

Fans are encouraged to park in the athletics complex parking deck, coliseum lot, Neville Arena lot and stadium parking deck.

  • For 2024, Donahue Drive from the Josh Donaldson Hitting Lab to the Tiger Walk corner of Donahue and Heisman Drive will be shut down from two hours before first pitch through the middle of the first inning and from the top of the seventh inning until the stadium has been cleared of fans.

Student seating inside Plainsman Park is in section 111 and Tiger Terrance on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can also access the new Back Forty Deck sponsored by Outdoor Alabama on a first-come, first-served basis via the walkway between the Josh Donaldson Hitting Lab and South Donahue Dorms.
 
For 2024, several concession locations have changed due to construction.

  • There will be no concessions available along the first base side of the ballpark, including Curveball Café and the food vendors located at Plainsman Patio.
  • Ben's Soft Pretzels has moved to the exterior concourse next to the ADA ramp on the third base side of the ballpark.
  • The Sweet Treats stand previously located at Plainsman Patio is now located at the main entry gate next to the ticket booth.
  • The Chick-fil-A stand previously located next at Plainsman Patio is now located in the former promotions booth on the exterior concourse. Chick-fil-A is available for all home games, excluding Sundays.
