AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn's Anna Davis has been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Freshman Team, the organization announced on Wednesday. Davis is one of just five players on the inaugural team.
The Auburn freshman earned second team All-American honors from the WGCA on Friday and second team All-SEC honors earlier in the month. She was also named to the SEC All-Freshman team this season.
Davis, who joined the team in January, participated in all eight of the Tigers' tournaments this spring. She recorded a runner-up finish at the last regular season event at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic before capturing a top-5 finish at the SEC Championship and winning low medalist at the NCAA Auburn Regional by three shots at 5-under (211).
Davis finished the year with a 71.68 scoring average and four top-10 individual finishes.
