"The character has been good and the leadership has been good, but the performance has not," head coach Butch Thompson said. "(The character) of our club has been there and the last two weekends you've been able to see it through their play and hanging in there. Every coach, every player, everybody is disappointed, but there's still some resolve and fight in this group and I appreciate that so much out of them."
