AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women's basketball will take on the Virginia Cavaliers in the 2024 SEC/ACC Challenge, it was announced by ESPN and the two conference offices Wednesday.
 
The contest will take place Thursday, Dec. 5, at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.
 
Network designations and tip times for the 16 games in the SEC/ACC Challenge will be announced at a later date.
 
Last season, Auburn hosted Clemson in the inaugural edition of the event, winning 83-53 at home. It was the largest margin of victory by any team, men's or women's, in the event, and secured a 7-7 tie between the conferences in the 14-team event.
 
This will be the seventh all-time meeting between Auburn and Virginia in women's basketball. The Tigers are 1-5 all-time against the Cavaliers with the last meeting coming in 2015. Auburn previously traveled to Charlottesville in 1998 and 2014.
