AUBURN, Ala. – Senior outfielder Mason Maners was named to the 2024 Academic All-District Baseball Team, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.

The recognition is bestowed on the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

Maners, who spent his first three years of college at Jacksonville State, graduated with his bachelor's degree in psychology in May and turned in a 3.50 overall GPA while also being named to the Dean’s List.

On the field, the Vestavia Hills, Alabama native hit .296 in 46 games in his lone season on The Plains. Maners ranked tied for third on the team with 40 runs and added nine doubles, three triples, seven homers and 17 RBI. He was also 7-for-7 in stolen bases.

Maners turned in multiple hits in 10 contests throughout the season, highlighted by a walk-off homer in the series opener against Austin Peay on Mar. 8. A lifelong Auburn fan, he doubled and homered against Alabama in his last career game.
